Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
I came to Catholic Charities after working for Bethany for 11 years. I was in various foster care roles for about 8 years and I also worked in Refugee programming for about 6 years to help start Bethany’s refugee program in Southwest Michigan. I am married to Nick (almost 10 years) and have 3 kids, Finley, Graeme, and Archer (4, 2, and 10 months). We live in Middleville near my in-laws’ Turkey Farm. I love football (Go Pack Go), playing volleyball, going to concerts, and anything competitive. I also love sleep, but get almost none with having 3 tiny kids!

What is your position at CCWM and what programs/clients do you work with?
I am the new Chief Program Officer, so I am replacing some of what Pam Cohn did while she was here. Right now, I am focusing on really getting to know the Family Preservation world, but eventually will have more engagement in all other aspects of the direct programs. I am also a part of the executive leadership team working closely with Chris, Laura, and Carol.

What is something that every employee should know about your role?
I love leadership development, so really developing my team and those who report to me is very important to me. I love investing in people and watching them grow!

After only a few weeks on the job, what are you most excited about?
One thing that has been so helpful in my first few weeks here is that everyone has been so nice and welcoming! It is a little scary walking in as the “new kid”, but everyone has gone out of their way to make me feel welcome and right at home! I’m really excited to get fully settled in and be an intricate part of the work you are all doing!

Is there anything else you want to say/talk about?
If we haven’t met yet, please come by and say hello! I’m hoping to make it to each of the offices in my first few months to meet everyone as well.
