Muskegon, Michigan, December, 2024
Thousands of Americans face financial insecurity nationwide and our community continues to feel its impact. More and more families in our community are turning to us for support for their tangible needs like food, groceries, and other family supplies. St. Gianna’s No Cost Baby Boutique has seen a continued demand in the last year and the resulting economic impact of our nation continues to bring great need and challenges to our community.
In response, we’re pleased to announce that St. Gianna’s No Cost Baby Boutique in Muskegon has joined forces with the Meijer Simply Give hunger relief program during this difficult time to help fill that void for our local families.
Each Simply Give campaign helps more than 270 food and baby pantries in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Wisconsin feed hungry families by keeping their shelves stocked with food for those in need. The campaign encourages Meijer customers to add a $10 Simply Give donation card to their cart at checkout, which is then converted into a Meijer food-only gift card and given to the local food or baby pantry selected by the store.
St. Gianna’s No Cost Baby Boutique will benefit from donation cards at the Fruitport Township Meijer (5300 Harvey St. Muskegon, MI) from Dec. 29, 2024, to March 29, 2025. The donation cards will allow our boutique to purchase much-needed formula and other baby supplies for the families we serve.
Help us fulfill our mission of feeding the hungry in West Michigan by adding a food donation card to your cart during your next shopping trip at Meijer. Tell your friends, relatives, neighbors and co-workers because every dollar makes a difference. Whether you shop in-store or online using Meijer Pickup or Home Delivery, consider adding a Simply Give donation card to your basket.
And when we give, Meijer gives. For every $10 Simply Give donation card a customer adds to their trip on Saturday, March 1 and 22, Meijer will DOUBLE match the contribution, meaning they will contribute an additional $20. This means our boutique will receive a total of $30 on those days.
Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors in need.
